Revoke Exhibition Open Call
What does it mean to revoke?
Revocation is going against the grain and is an act of creation, in which something is dismantled so something else can emerge. REVOKE invites artists to contemplate this word and everything it evokes: resistance, rebellion, transformation, anger, liberation, rupture, memory, desire and reinvention.
What do you revoke?
What do you refuse to accept?
What do you reclaim?
What needs to be undone?
We invite artists working with photography to submit up to 15 images responding to the theme REVOKE. Selected works will be curated by @lindazhengova into a punk exhibition in:
Melbourne - October 30th - November 1st, 2026.
There are no restrictions on interpretation. We are interested in personal and unexpected responses to the word.
Submission deadline: September 20th, 2026

Entering the open call is simple:
Fill out the submission form below.
Upload your photographs following the file requirements.
Pay the submission fee to complete your entry.
*Please note, this is a curated exhibition and a submission fee does not guarantee a place in the show. We are asking artists to submit knowing that selection is not assured.

Where Your Submission Fee Goes

Venue hire
Professional printing
Exhibition and production costs
General running costs
We have worked hard to keep the submission fee as low as possible while maintaining the quality of the exhibition. Our aim is to create a well-produced event that photographers can be proud to be part of.
Thank you for taking part and helping us make this happen!
